STRAITS CLAN

Straits Clan is a gentlemen’s club completely inspired by ancient Singapore and the era during the world war time. The whole concept is influenced by the clubs and clans that existed during the ancient period of world war.

Straits Clan is trying preserve the ancient legacy of the country and keep up with needs of the young generation. The interiors and all the ambiance of the club is a mixture of contemporary styles and the ancient interiors colors and entertainment during the period.

The club includes facilities from cafe to private parties, meeting-working space, gym, bar and a disco. All this could be functional with the membership of the club. Other than just preserving the culture it also upgrades and keeps it running. By creating a co -working space it helps to awareness of its existence. The influence for the designs for House of Sheen were inspired by Straits Clan, the color the feel and the over all look of the products.

The products were created by keeping the people in mind who come to Straits Clan. It was a inspiration for the luxury travel collection of HOUSE OF SHEEN'S. Being situated ahead of Chinatown in Singapore it has a lot of the Chinese crowd coming in. The place where it is situated was once a strait to the Singapore River. Hence, they named it Straits Clan.
