Art is the best form of gaining knowledge and learning new things in life. And attending a art museum in life is a must. In olden days it was all art that depicted stories and explained things. It is one of the oldest form of education. I visited the art museum as a college trip for one of my subjects. The collection of paintings were from the 19th and 20th century by few famous great artists of those days. The famous artist were Juan Luna and Raden Salah from the east Asian countries. Their art work depicted the lifes of really known people of those century and also the major happenings of the times for example the death of CLEOPATRA the Egyptian queen the womens during those times their dressing style and sense of fashion and the fights that happened during those days.
My visit to the national art gallery got me inspired by a painting of a women from the 19th century era. Being a student from the design field and background, the garments and sense of style intrigued me to create a collection inspired by those garments and modern day silhouettes. The whole collection is emphasized with fringe and tassels inspired by the scarf women wore in the painting. Also fringe and tassels revived as a latest trend over a period of time.
