ECO BANK

In the 21st century, with the changing climatic, economic and lifestyle conditions, sustainability is the new trend. Nobody wants the world to be destroyed. Everyone wants to save the mother nature, and why not should we. People are coming up with newer ideas and technologies to save up water, energy, fuels and many more things that can be reused. The world has started to recycle.

Fashion industry also can be counted into such programmes, because there are many ways to even recycle fashion. Have you ever taught what happens to the clothes that you throw away? Some may be good hearted and might donate it to the poor and that how it gets passed on. But what about the ones you throw away, shouldn’t we have some solution to all this. To make this a better world, sustainability is important in every field of life, because these savings could save a lot many lifes

Concepts like upcycling is a product of sustainability. There are many brands that have come up with such concepts. Even community groups and organisations have started adapting this trend of sustainability by creating eco banks.

Eco Banks are all about donating your things that we don’t need or use anymore, but could help others and be useful for them. I learned about this system of ECO BANK through one of my academic lessons of sustainability and also about one of our trip to one of the eco banks, where we helped in segregating the products, which would be further sent to the poor ,needy, NGOs or community groups.
